What Really Happened In RG KAR HOSPITAL?

On the early morning of 9th August, 2024, the body of a 31 year old second year post graduate trainee doctor was found on the 4th floor’s seminar hall in Kolkata’s RG KAR hospital. The state of her lifeless body indicated that she was sexually molested and murdered. However, the principal, Sandip ghosh tried to cover up the case by giving it an angle of suicide. It is only when the doctors’ community protested, that the Kolkata police arrested a man named Sanjay Roy, on 10th august, 2024, who worked as a civic volunteer for the said Kolkata police.

On the basis of the post mortem report of the victim, the shady past of the principal of RG KAR hospital and the events that took place in the hospital after the case was handed over to the CBI, the public refused to believe that the crime was done by a single man. Instead they believe there’s a much sinister story behind the murder and Sanjay Roy is just a scapegoat.

Currently, the case is under CBI investigation and with each passing day, new twists and angles keep unfolding.
