Google has tried nothing to strengthen the Pixel Fold 10 Pro and they are all out of ideas. The new Folding Pixel Phone has failed my durability test Catastrophically. But nope! The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is weaker than ever and now Explodes. This is the first time in a decade of durability testing smartphones that ive had a phone explode in my hands.

The contented sigh you just heard is the sound of a foldable fan finally returning to his preferred form factor after a month in the stifling confines of slab-land. Yes, MrMobile is back in the high life again with the colossal canvas of a pocket tablet, and all its accompanying advantages. But as relieved as I am to return to a folding phone, I'm forced to conclude that Google's new Pixel 10 Pro Fold is only half a success story. While it sets a new standard for theoretical durability with IP68 dust and water resistance, and finally brings MagSafe compatibility to foldables with PixelSnap, it also retains some of the most frustrating compromises that have marred foldables since the beginning – for a price tag that refuses to acknowledge those deficiencies. Hands-on with the Google Pixel Fold! This is the porcelain color, which has this gorgeous matte finish back and gold accents for the sides of the phone and camera. It’s a fantastic colorway. The Google Pixel Fold is also the first Google engineered and designed foldable out there, so it’s really exciting. It has a wider size to it than the Samsung Galaxy Fold devices, which I prefer. They said it was designed to be like a Moleskin notebook, which makes sense! The hinge is quite strong and holds its position well in just about any orientation. It is also the thinnest foldable in the United States, and it feels like it. The trade-off of these two victories is that the top and bottom bezels are thicker to allow for the thicker hinge parts that are found at the top and bottom instead of under the screen like other foldable phones.
